THAT is What a Democrat Sounds Like

There is not a better, more knowledgeable, more capable, more inspiring person in politics today.

Obama doesn't have it in him. I am sorry as hell to say this. When I watched his speech during the 2004 convention I was sure I was watching someone very special. And I still believe that. But he's not a man for our times. We are tired of the last 8 years, we are worn down by worry, by useless fear-mongering and the erosion of our rights. I don't want speeches, I want actions. Obama has refused, and I mean refused, to demonstrate that he takes the tired, worn out lives of America today seriously. He wants to play games with words, to create a placeholder in a Big Book of Speeches to be read by schoolchildren years from now. And those children will be wondering, what did he do? How did he work to make things different?

Exactly right. All the other speeches practically put me to sleep. But Hillary was electric. I always just shake my head when someone claims that Obama is an inspirational speaker. I've never been inspired by him because his words seem like they are just words to him. He doesn't speak from his heart, nor does he connect his words to the people who most need government to work for them. I always hear a person with a big heart when I hear Hillary. And she truly gets the people she is talking to.
