Mountain Lion

A little Friday cat blogging to put everybody in the right frame of mind for the weekend. This is my cat playing mountain lion. She has found the highest perch in the house and is waiting for unsuspecting prey to wander by. This is in the master bedroom closet on top of the clothes storage boxes which are on top of the high shelf. How did she manage this? We don't know.

Cute cat.

But I've got to say, you have an amazingly clean and organized closet. I guess the dust bunnies don't live at your house.

That's why the ancient Egyptians worshipped cats and why cats have been associated with magical powers by the superstitious.

Simple:-) Teleportation.

Easy for a cat - just one jump from floor to the shelf seen at the left edge of the photo, then a short leap to the top of the boxes.

My cats are adept at finding the high spots. When cats go missing, people tend to look down, that is under the bed, behind things in closets, but many times they are happily sleeping as high up as they can get in seemingly inaccessable places.

I'm with Pat. I am not worthy. And you find time to blog?

I keep saying that I'll get organized after the election, but then there always is another election!

Folks, you forget I only moved into this house a month ago. I have not yet had time for the detritus of life to pile up. I blog to avoid housework...

My cat *always* finds the highest location in the house. The top of the china cabinet is a favorite, too. I found her up in the towels on the top shelf of the bathroom linen closet a few weeks ago.
